Little Things

Well hello. I’m in a motivational rut right now. For a few days now, I haven’t had any desire to draw. But I then again I do. It’s weird and frustrating, but I don’t want to force it.

However! That doesn’t mean that I haven’t been doing little things. Here is what I’ve been doing lately.

At the library, I found an instructional book about how to draw with crayons. The artist and author is Lee Hammond. It’s a lot harder than I thought it would be, but still fun.

Another thing I tried is creating face from scratch. I hadn’t tried this in many years but I think it went well. They are pretty sketchy.

The most recent drawing I’ve done is of Joshua Jackson. I thought the picture was so cool, so I had to draw it. It’s not completely done yet. There are still some fixes needed on his face.

And here is an hour sketch of Chris Pine.

  1. I reaaally admire the way you draw clothes, it’s so realistic that it makes you think you can feel the fabric if you’d touch the drawing.. So yeah keep up the good work:) I love seeing things you’ve made
